For the last 22 years, Bill and his son, Clay, have been running CMW/Equi Racks. He and his beautiful bride celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 29, 2017.
Lila is survived by her son, Robert Robillard, and his wife, Donna Benz, of Bound Brook, NJ; her daughter, Renee Robillard, and her husband, James Lynch, of Albuquerque; her brother, Robert Peregrine, and his wife, Donna, of Rapid City, SD; her sister, Betty Schumann, of Fairmont, MN; and many wonderful Peregrine and Robillard nieces and nephews and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert "Bob" G.
The newlyweds moved to Stoneville, SD, where Bill worked for his father.
Then the young couple moved to work at the 2 Rivers Ranch before moving back to Stoneville.
She also volunteered in the Union Township library for 13 years.
In Sturgis, she volunteered for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), hospital auxiliary, Chamber of Commerce, school library, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.After her high school graduation in 1940, she attended the University of Minnesota.She lived in California from 1942-1945, working at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach during WWII.Lila and Bob, who was from Staten Island, NY, were married in Mexico in 1945.Lila lived in Sturgis with her parents while Bob was overseas with the Navy Air Corps.This included a "Make a Difference Day" drive that was recognized by the national "Make a Difference Day" committee.
